Airing of the Quilts is hosted every other year. This event features a wide array of quilts - some vintage, some new - from Sampson County. There are also related activities such as quilting demonstrations, live music, and refreshments"
The Distinguished Speaker
The Distinguished Speaker Series is a quarterly program. Each program will feature a guest speaker presenting topics related to Sampson County's rich history...and more! Previous topics on the schedule have included the sinking of the Titanic, the Holocaust, and Native Americans in colonial North Carolina.
Museum Day
Museum Day is our annual open house event, in conjunction with the Square Fair, BBQ cook-off, and antique car show in downtown Clinton. Held on the second Saturday of each October, we feature a wide variety of craftspeople, live music, and family-friendly activities related to Sampson County History.
